EasyLift training in Massing
Lift manager technicians have been trained on spider lifts.
It’s been a long time since we’ve had a technician training course that so enthusiastically inspires the participants.
Gianluca Pez, EASYLIFT after sales manager, was in Massing for two days and initiated around 15 of our technicians from all over Germany and Austria into the deeper technical levels of the EASYLIFT spider lift program.

Visits to Easylift and GSR
The Rothlehner Group visiting its partners:
As a working platform specialist with more than 40 years of experience, we know how important cooperation with our manufacturer partners is. Mutual visits therefore take place regularly. This is what happened at the beginning of May when a delegation from the Rothlehner group of companies visited the working platform manufacturers GSR (truck working platforms) and Easylift (spider lifts).
Our sales team from Germany and Austria, as well as the Lift Manager workshop management from Massing, were also part of the party. First we went to GSR in Rimini, where we could get a first-hand insight into the current models and innovations. The next day we went on to Easylift in Brescello, where we were introduced to the latest innovations and special equipment as part of service and product training.
Such visits are finally possible again and mean added value for both sides. Not only because of the obligatory meetings and training courses, these personal meetings also contribute to long-term, fair partnerships based on trust. Problems in sales and service can be discussed in a very transparent manner and suggestions for improvement and solutions can be found.
Big thanks to the GSR and Easylift teams for the hospitality. In this way, we can master the challenges of the future together.
Mobile service now also in the Franconia area

We have further expanded the service capacity for our customers.
Christian Tscherner is now on the road from Bayreuth in the region of Franconia and North Bavaria with a fully equipped mobile service vehicle. This enables us to create faster response times and shorter travel distances for users and rental companies of work platforms.

You now have the choice between cost-effective BASIS maintenance according to minimum legal requirements. In order to protect your working platform against breakdowns and wear and tear, you can also opt for the “usual” Lift-Manager standard in the PLUS package (more detailed maintenance, adjustment work, replacement of wearing parts, maintenance and servicing work are included here).
Information on the annual DGUV safety inspection and our special package prices can be found in this supplement.
Due to increased postage and paper costs, we now charge €1.20 per paper invoice sent.
Customers who would like to receive their invoice digitally in the future, please send us a message to info@lift-manager.de, including the email address to which we may send the digital invoices.
Due to the drastically increased fuel costs, we have to temporarily raise an energy surcharge.
So that we can still be in action for our customers tomorrow with our 25 mobile service vehicles, we have introduced a diesel surcharge of 7 cents/km.
We ask our customers for their understanding of this measure.
We deliberately only charge a surcharge and do not increase the mileage rates. If the price of diesel fuel returns to the pre-Ukraine war level, the surcharge will no longer apply.

Elektro Heidan invests in a refurbished GSR E200T
The master company for electrical and lightning protection systems from Neschwitz near Bautzen recently received an overhauled GSR E200T. Company owner Frank Heidan and his team offer lightning protection and cable installations, as well as photovoltaics, building technology and services.
The 20 meter telescopic device GSR E200T, built in 2015, was overhauled and technically and optically repaired by Lift-Manager. The TÜV has been redesigned and the DGUV safety test has been updated by our specialist staff.
The E200T offers a working height of 20.20 m, a basket load of 200 kg and a lateral reach of a maximum of 11.70 m. With variable levelling, rotatable basket and robust, simple technology, the 3.5 t device is ideally suited for a variety of uses.
We wish you successful operations with the GSR E200T at all times!
With a proper preparation, a second or third stage life for all work platform categories is possible at any time and makes economic sense. We are happy to help you.

Among the many donation accounts for those affected by the unbelievable storm catastrophe, we decided on the THW Foundation.
Around 80,000 volunteers from the THW work around the clock for all of us all year round – in dangerous high-risk situations, in storms and disasters.

No problem thanks to bridge cranes and lots of space
The repair of large scale devices requires a number of basic requirements, especially space and equipment.
These machine repairs involve components such as big telescopes or hydraulic cylinders, or a 10-year fire brigade – check. These parts are not as easy to handle as with a smaller machine.
Lift-Manager offers these prerequisites in the headquarters in Jänkendorf and Massing.
Major repairs are also carried out in the Bobstadt, Datteln and Breitenfelde branches.
The telescope of a larger self-propelled telescope can be removed in its entirety with the 12.5t bridge crane in Massing.
It can then be worked in fill lenght in our spacious workshop halls
(e.g. to renew the slide rails, or to change the hoses or cabling).
Group overview 2020 with locations and employees
In 2020, the Rothlehner Group launched around 730 devices on the market. Across our markets and countries, the 235 employees generated sales of around €41 million.

More flexibility with in-house painting
The new paint shop in Jänkendorf is scheduled to go into operation at the beginning of the new year. In addition to the location in Massing, we also offer attractive partial or complete paintwork in Jänkendorf.
With in-house painting, complex repairs and preparations can then be carried out more flexibly, faster and more economically. Be it used equipment repair orders directly from the customer, or from partners such as as part of the Haulotte “Second Life” offers.
To do this, attachments are dismantled, damage repaired and, if necessary, we have them sandblasted. By painting, we increase the value and service life of worn or damaged work platforms.
Rothlehner usually offers three possible quality levels for the sale of used equipment:
A: Technically and visually revised, partially repainted
B: Technically revised with optical concessions
C: Functional, ready to use
In response to frequent customer requests, used devices with high quality technology and optics are preferred.
A large part of the added value at Lift-Manager is accounted for every year in the area of used equipment repairs.

Gardening and Landscaping Company invests in their first own work platform:
The landscaping company “Gartenpflege Zeuthen” from Mittenwald, south of Berlin, recently received a completely refurbished DENKA•LIFT DL30, manufacturing year 2009. Company owner Christian Anschütz and his team offer all garden maintenance services, from paving to building fences.
Various machines have been rented over the years. Now the decision was taken to invest in an own device in the range of 25-30m working height. The final choice was a completely renovated DENKA-LIFT DL30.
The second hand machine has been completely overhauled by Lift Manager Service, including new tires, new batteries, and much more. The telescopic device offers 30m working height, 11m horizontal outreach and 200kg basket load as well as a hybrid drive with battery and Hatz diesel engine.
At the handover, Mr. Anschütz was satisfied with the good condition of the machines and the thorough refurbishments.

The Lift-Manager Arbeitsbühnenservice GmbH continue to expand in Germany
In the Datteln subsidiary, the number of staff has now been increased to four service technicians, in the Bobstadt subsidiary, a fourth service vehicle has been purchased and in the Breitenfelde subsidiary has invested in a lathe.
This is all in order to increase performance for the benefit of customers and to quickly and reliably process customer requirements and refurbishment and repair processes.
The team in Jänkendorf have also been joined by a Polish service technician which adds new impetus to cross-border deployments in Poland and
cooperation with the Polish company of the Rothlehner Group.
DENKA-LIFT DK18 fully refurbished
Roofing company Pahl invests in the reconditioned Denka-Lift DK18
The Pahl company in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has many years of experience in the renovation of old buildings. Roofing, plumbing, waterproofing, cladding, carpentry and everything related to it is one of the core competencies.
Now the company has invested in a used aerial work platform. Because of the different mounting options the choice fell on a flexible 18m telescopic trailer platform, DENKA•LIFT DK18.
The used device, built in 2010, was technically and optically repaired by the Lift Manager Service and retrofitted with a quiet Honda unit to ensure that it can be used independently of the power supply.
At Lift-Manager and Rothlehner, used equipment repair and marketing have been an important business area for decades. Not every used device is completely revised technically and optically. The scope of the preparation work is often based on customer requirements. In individual cases there are compromises in terms of optics or non-safety-related technology.

A little happy change in Corona times
On May 6th lift manager Jänkendorf made one of his DENKA • LIFT DK18 available for a small concert free of charge.
Two musicians serenaded at the “Abendfrieden” nursing home of the Emmaus Deaconess Institute in Niesky. Around 1.5 hours of music was played around the area to bring a little variety and joy to the residents and employees, as they are currently not allowed to leave the home.
The distance rule could be dispensed with in the work basket, since the two musicians come from one household. Otherwise, two stages would have been set up.

Fourth Service-Vehicle in Bobstadt-branch
Service capacities further expanded at Lift-Manager
The fourth service vehicle has now been put into operation at the Bobstadt branch (south of Frankfurt am Main). The experienced service technician Ronny Marquard will therefore be working for our customers in the area around of the branch. The new Mercedes Sprinter has the latest generation of Sortimo equipment. The lift manager fleet now comprises a total of 24 service vehicles across Germany.
The service structure of the Rothlehner Group is continuously expanded with regard to customer benefits. In all companies in the group, the service network and capacity of qualified specialist staff are always improved.
