Lift manager at the IPAF trainer conference 2020

On January 23, 2020, the IPAF trainer conference took place in Tropical Island near Cottbus. Reinhard Willenbrock and Janina Tapper from IPAF Germany again managed to get almost all IPAF trainers on board for the conference. A total of around 120 IPAF trainers from Austria and Germany were present.

In various lectures, the speakers highlighted current topics related to security issues, IPAF trainer training, or digitization. Among other things, Lift Manager Managing Director Roland Jäkel informed in his lecture about the emergency lowering on mobile aerial work platforms.

Lift manager trainees on the go as training scouts

As so-called “apprenticeship scouts”, apprentices go to school classes and bring pupils closer to their apprenticeship. The companies work together with the IHK.

Our Simon Huf (3rd year of apprenticeship / mechatronics) has already been a guest in several schools and explained his training to lift managers in Massing and answered questions.

The lectures use a power point template provided by the IHK.
There are always two trainees, each presenting a technical / craft profession and a commercial profession.

Bronto service training

As part of the focus training of our lift manager service technicians, four technicians were again for a week of further training at the BRONTO plant in Finland – see photo.
This means that six technicians in Germany are now state of the art, including the so-called blue calibration key, which contains the latest B5 + control.
Up to three fire brigade BRONTOs were at the same time for repairs and 10-year checks in one of our workshops, such as the last one in Jänkendorf, the devices from Salzbergen, Neustadt / Dosse and from Klasterec / Czech Republic – see photo.
In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, some Bronto industrial devices from energy suppliers are also in the service support of Rothlehner.
In Austria, a new workshop in Villach will soon offer the opportunity to further expand the Bronto service in Austria. The service technician on site, also equipped with a blue key,
has been carrying out repairs and annual maintenance for fire departments in Austria for years including in South Tyrol or Bosnia. Operator training at fire departments, such as recently in Weiz / Styria, is also part of the program.

That was the BAUMA 2019

Bauma Messestand 2019 Rothlehner Arbeitsbühnen Panorama

The Bauma 2019 is already history again. As expected, the fair set new records: 620,000 visitors were curious about the products and services of 3,700 exhibitors.
We, too, draw a thoroughly positive balance and are pleased to speak of a successful Bauma 2019. The new concept with smaller tents and more space for machines has worked well for all exhibitors (Falcon Lift, GSR, Rothlehner, PB Lifttechnik, GGW and Lift-Manager). On behalf of our partners, we would like to thank all our customers and guests for their visit, for the constructive discussions and for the orders placed. Many thanks also to all employees who contributed to the success.

Lift-Manager and Rothlehner deepen their cooperation with Haulotte

Training conducted for service and sales

At the beginning of the year extensive Haulotte training sessions were held in Jänkendorf and Massing
(we reported). More than 20 service employees of the Rothlehner Group in the German-speaking area were thoroughly instructed for several days in theory and practice in the latest generation of devices.
For some series, ia. For the new HA 20 LE Pro, the first of the PULSEO electric series, the level 3 access authorization was also acquired.

The training date in early February in Massing was also taken as an opportunity to bring the entire sales teams of Haulotte Germany and Rothlehner around a table.

The Rothlehner Group launched more than 400 new appliances in its core markets in 2018; almost half of them in Germany. Reason enough to discuss everyday business issues as well as basic strategies between the manufacturer and his sales partner.

Service training for Haulotte HA20LE

The Lift-Manager service technicians at the headquarters in Jänkendorf were instructed by Haulotte employees in the technology of the new HA20LE all-wheel all-electric articulated work platform.
Further training days for the lift manager technicians from the other locations will follow.

The new PULSEO series from Haulotte offers fully electric all-wheel work platforms with 4 × 4 drive. They are powered exclusively by batteries and are therefore 100% emission-free.
With its very good performance data, it is the first all-wheel all-electric work platform on the market that really does a full workday without loading operations, just like a diesel articulated lift.
